Ranganthittu is a bird sanctuary near Bangalore, India.
The river Cauvery creates a lake of sorts while flowing through this place. There are many islands in the river, and they are full of birds in season. Its a great experience to take a boat-ride on the river and pass by inches from the wide-open mouth of crocodiles. The crocodiles are tired of the tourists, and largely ignore them. In fact, most of them were yawning when we passed by.
